Seven Persons School
Prairie Rose Public Schools is seeking a full-time teacher at Seven Persons School for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking a passionate and skilled educator to join our Junior High team as a Grade 7–9 Math Teacher. The successful candidate will create a supportive, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and develop confidence in their mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who is committed to helping students reach their full potential through strong relationships, high expectations, and responsive instruction. The ideal candidate will also be willing to contribute to the broader school community by participating in extra-curricular activities, such as coaching, clubs, or other student leadership opportunities.
Qualifications
● Academic Credentials: o Bachelor of Education Degree from an accredited University. o Possession of or eligibility for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. ● Proven Proficiency: A verifiable record of successful instruction in Division 3 (Grades 7-9) Mathematics ● A teacher with experience or training in Junior High Science would also be considered an asset. About Prairie Rose Public Schools:
Prairie Rose School Division is primarily located in the South-Eastern region of Alberta in the communities of: Bow Island, Cypress County, County of 40 Mile, Foremost, MD of Acadia Valley, Oyen, Redcliff and Special Areas, along with two schools in the City of Calgary. The Division consists of 18 public schools, 2 Outreach schools, 2 Alternative Program schools, and 19 Hutterite Colony schools and educates approximately 6500 students. Our Division office is located in Dunmore, Alberta, near the city of Medicine Hat.
