Located at 1351 30 St SW in Medicine Hat, South Alberta Collegiate is a large facility operated by Prairie Rose Public Schools used to provide PRPS students with access to a state-of-the-art indoor learning space for both physical and educational needs. Funds to secure the large facility were made available through a grant received from Alberta Education for expanding collegiate programming.

The building is used primarily as an indoor fieldhouse to support the school division's multiple academy program offerings including the Mavericks School of Baseball and the South Alberta School of Softball. Additionally, a portion of the building has been designed into a fully equipped aircraft maintenance engineer shop where the South Alberta Flight Academy students construct airplanes from start to finish. The building's proximity to the Medicine Hat Airport also allows flight students to easily access flight training through Super T Aviation and the PRPS hangar located at the airport.

The large office space is used by PRPS division office staff who oversee programming outside of a student's regular school location including coaching staff for the South Alberta Hockey Academy, the program coordinator for the South Alberta School of Trades, our Director of Enhanced Programming, Mental Health Performance Coach and other PRPS division office staff. Additionally, the space is used by community businesses that include Excel Physiotherapy and HALO Air Ambulance.

Outside of school hours, PRPS shares the building with community user groups who take advantage of the indoor fieldhouse.
