Seven Persons School
Prairie Rose Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE temporary Grade 3 teacher at Seven Persons School for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the guidance of the School Principal, the successful candidate will lead instruction for all subjects in a Grade 3 classroom, while cultivating a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment. Through adequate preparation and organization, the teacher will exhibit excellent classroom management in the promotion of goals and standards as adopted and approved by Alberta Education. Using regular evaluation and reporting, the teacher will encourage and foster lifelong learning in students while maintaining confidentiality and open communication with parents and guardians. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a professional team environment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Education Degree from an accredited University • Alberta Teaching Certificate
Terms of Employment
• 1.0 FTE – Temporary Contract • August 27, 2026 – June 29, 2027
About Prairie Rose Public Schools:
Prairie Rose School Division is primarily located in the South-Eastern region of Alberta and educates approximately 5100 students in the communities of: Bow Island, Cypress County, County of 40 Mile, Foremost, MD of Acadia Valley, Oyen, Redcliff and Special Areas, with two schools in the City of Calgary, as well. The Division consists of 18 public schools, 2 Outreach schools. 2 Alternative Program schools, and 18 Hutterite Colony schools. Our Division office is located in Dunmore, Alberta, near the city of Medicine Hat.
