Educational Assistant
Rosedale Colony School
Prairie Rose Public Schools is seeking a Part-time Educational Assistant to join the team at Rosedale Colony School. Rosedale Colony School is located approximately 10 kms south of Etzikom, AB. Reporting to the Colony Principal, the Educational Assistant will assist in the delivery of the educational program, tracking student data and student progression with the supervising teacher. The Educational Assistant will promote a positive learning environment while respecting the confidentiality of the teacher, students, and parent community.
Qualifications
● High School Diploma ● Education Assistant certificate or equivalent; preferred ● Strong communication skills; both written and verbal ● Proven ability to work effectively with all students in an inclusive learning environment ● Understanding and respect for the Hutterite culture is essential
Terms of Employment
• November 13, 2025 – June 25, 2026 • 10 hours per week; as scheduled by the Colony Principal
About Prairie Rose Public Schools:
Prairie Rose School Division is primarily located in the South-Eastern region of Alberta in the communities of: Bow Island, Cypress County, County of 40 Mile, Foremost, MD of Acadia Valley, Oyen, Redcliff and Special Areas, along with two schools in the City of Calgary. The Division consists of 18 public schools, 2 Outreach schools, 2 Alternative Program schools, and 18 Hutterite Colony schools and educates approximately 6500 students. Our Division office is located in Dunmore, Alberta, near the city of Medicine Hat.
