Seven Persons School
Prairie Rose Public Schools is seeking a full-time Educational Assistant to join the team at Seven Persons School in Seven Person, AB, effective as soon as possible for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. Seven Persons School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educational Assistant to support an individual student who benefits from a calm, consistent, and encouraging presence throughout the school day. The ideal candidate builds strong, trusting relationships and is committed to helping every student succeed. Responsibilities include providing academic and emotional support, promoting self-regulation, and fostering independence and confidence. This role requires patience, adaptability, and strong collaboration with teachers, support staff, and administration.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma · Education Assistant certificate or equivalent; preferred · Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Terms of Employment
· Monday – Friday · 8:20 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (6 hrs/day; 30 hrs/week) · Start date: As soon as possible for the suitable candidate
About Prairie Rose Public Schools:
Prairie Rose School Division is primarily located in the South-Eastern region of Alberta in the communities of: Bow Island, Cypress County, County of 40 Mile, Foremost, MD of Acadia Valley, Oyen, Redcliff and Special Areas, along with two schools in the City of Calgary. The Division consists of 18 public schools, 2 Outreach schools, 2 Alternative Program schools, and 19 Hutterite Colony schools and educates approximately 6500 students. Our Division office is located in Dunmore, Alberta, near the city of Medicine Hat.
