Administrative Assistant

Eagle Butte High School

Prairie Rose Public Schools is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the team at Eagle Butte High School effective October 15th for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. Reporting to the School Principal, the Administrative Assistant delivers exceptional customer service to staff, students, and school families while managing the daily operations of a busy main office. Key responsibilities include providing general reception coverage, supporting the Learning Support Teacher, managing the school concession, and creating engaging communications through the school newsletter and social media platforms.

Qualifications

● Administrative Office Professional Certificate, Business Administration Diploma or equivalent ● Proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and Canva ● Proven organizational skills ● Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal ● Previous work experience in an office setting; required ● Previous work experience in a school environment is an asset

Terms of Employment

● Monday – Friday; 32.5 hours /week ● 8:30 a.m. -- 3:30 p.m. (6.5 hours/day) ● Eagle Butte High School

About Prairie Rose Public Schools:

Prairie Rose School Division is primarily located in the South-Eastern region of Alberta in the communities of: Bow Island, Cypress County, County of 40 Mile, Foremost, MD of Acadia Valley, Oyen, Redcliff and Special Areas, along with two schools in the City of Calgary. The Division consists of 18 public schools, 2 Outreach schools, 2 Alternative Program schools, and 19 Hutterite Colony schools and educates approximately 6500 students. Our Division office is located in Dunmore, Alberta, near the city of Medicine Hat.
