Junior High Archery
Archery offers students the opportunity to engage in exercise, recreation, challenge, competition and relaxation.
About the Warren Peers Archery Program
Archery at Warren Peers School in Acadia Valley follows the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) and is open to students in Grades 7, 8 and 9. Archery students also have the option to compete in tournaments as well as at NASP provincial and national competitions. This is an option class and allows for about two hours of practice per week. Students work with a traditional target and 3D animals, which involves using foam targets of various animals.

Teacher/Instructor Jamie Didychuk
“It’s incredible watching them improve and change,” said teacher Jaime Didychuk. “It's really neat to see because it’s a sport where you don’t have to be athletic. It’s interesting to see the focus, determination, and self-motivation in the students because it is a sport where you are trying to beat yourself and your own score and hone in on skills that can carry over into other parts of your life.”
