Foremost Rodeo Academy

The Foremost School Rodeo Academy student-athletes are immersed in a unique learning environment that is split between the classroom, agricultural field trips, and the Riding Arena. Student-athletes focus on barrels, poles, roping, horsemanship, and other related topics. This elite experience provides access to professional coaches, and state-of-the art equipment, providing a competitive advantage while perfecting skills.

How to Apply

This Prairie Rose academy requires approval from the Program Coordinator and the school Principal. Please complete the interest form and someone will be in touch with you shortly.

Mission Statement

The Foremost Rodeo Academy promotes an exclusive experience that focuses on the sport of rodeo while engaging students in hand-on agricultural experiences. Students in Senior High School earn credits through specially designed modules in the classroom and have the opportunity to be coached in their events by professional cowboys/cowgirls. Foremost School’s state of the art rodeo equipment will give a competitive advantage to our rodeo athletes to perfect their skills in their chosen event.

Academic Standards

The Foremost Rodeo Academy is committed to the philosophy that student-athletes are students first and that all student-athletes must exhibit behaviors that demonstrate a commitment to maximizing academic success as their first priority. All programming is embedded into the school day. Students will work within the classroom to earn credits towards their Alberta High School Diploma. In addition, students will travel to various locations on field trips related to agriculture and rodeo topics. Foremost School offers students excellent updated facilities that are conducive to learning and creating a comfortable educational environment. Rodeo students will have access to the following facilities: ➡️ Fully functional newly constructed fitness facility ➡️ Foremost outdoor and indoor rodeo arena ➡️ Two school gymnasiums ➡️ Top of the line rodeo training equipment including: ✅ Automated Buckrite machine ✅ Smarty Bronc ✅ Hot Heels roping dummy ✅ Collapsible roping dummies ✅ Tuf Goat tying dummy ✅ Tuf Kaf tie down dummy, sled for tie down, and breakaway roping ✅ Horse and steer savers for steer wrestling and goat tying
