Prairie Mennonite School - Education Through Immersion
Through immersion that involves hands on learning and skill development, students are exposed to a large variety of activities and community learning initiatives that are highly valued in the Mennonite culture.
Learning What's Out There Helps Us Learn About Ourselves
The goal of the program is to tie curriculum learning outcomes to direct real life application. This will include having students participate in a number of activities both at school and in the community such as, woodworking, baking and foods, outdoor education and art. Through vocational training the program exposes students to critical thinking, problem solving, managing conflict resolution and communication skills which are important to real world success.
