Bus Transportation
Prairie Rose Public Schools operates 81 bus routes covering a large geographical region (29,117 sq kilometres). As a primarily rural school division, the majority of our 3,300 students are brought to school by bus. It is important that any new family to the school division indicate they require bus transportation when completing their student registration forms. A secondary form to register for bussing will be automatically assigned upon completion of the registration form.

| Note: Maps are created based on the most recent information at the time they were created and are subject to change based on new enrollments over the summer and at the start of the school year. School bus drivers receive their route information near the end of August and will drive the route to determine pick up and drop off times, as well as whether any changes to the pick up/drop off order is required. Families will receive a phone call from their driver with this information. If you have not been contacted by your driver before August 28, 2025, please contact the PRPS Transportation Department. |
Important Notes for Families
🚍 Bus registration forms are assigned to students upon completion of their pre-enrollment form or new registration forms through School Engage. If you did not have a form assigned to you, or for general transportation inquiries contact the PRPS Transportation Department at 403-527-5516.
🚍 While every effort is made to provide the most up to date information to families, bus routes are often subject to adjustment throughout the school year to accommodate new families.
🚍 Please remember your school bus route (this is not the same as the number on the school bus). When cancellations or delays occur, parents are notified of the bus route, not the name of the driver who made the cancellation.
